Tender description

Portsmouth City Council — the ‘Client’ — has awarded 2 contracts covering the provision of statutory responsive repairs and maintenance (R&M) and void property maintenance services to its ‘Off Island’ housing stock. The works types covered under the contracts also include for specialist works such as electrical works, plumbing and roofing. The contracts are due to commence on 1.4.2016 and will run for an initial term of 6 years extendable in increments to be agreed to a maximum total term of 10 years. As stated within the Contract Notice (2015/S 087-156763), the Client reserves the right to extend the contracts to provide services and works across the entirety of it's housing and commercial property portfolio. The scope of the services and works may also be expanded to include for planned maintenance works, gas servicing, repairs and installation and mechanical & electrical servicing, repairs and installation. The provision of statutory responsive repairs and maintenance (R&M) and void property maintenance services to approx. 4 500 social housing properties located within the Leigh Park estate, Havant. The provision of statutory responsive repairs and maintenance (R&M) and void property maintenance services to approx. 3 900 social housing properties located across the social housing estates Paulsgrove, Portsmouth and Wecock Farm, Waterlooville.
