PROVISION OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS SUPPORT FOR THE LOCAL PLAN

Tender description

Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) is seeking to commission consultants to prepare a public affairs and public relations plan for the preparation of the Local Plan. It is critical that this work is in conformity with the Government’s regulations on Local Plan engagement; the Council’s Statement for Community Involvement adopted in February 2013 and is aligned with the Local Plan Communications Strategy agreed in March 2013 and the Local Plan timetable as outlined in the Local Development Scheme adopted by the Council in June 2015. This shows the next phase of formal engagement scheduled autumn 2016 although the Council consider that there is likely to be some slippage.
