PA/2402 Framework Agreement for the Recruitment of Temporary IT Contractors

Tender description

The University is establishing a framework agreement for the provision of IT contractors and consultants. The framework will provide contractors to the whole of the University including (but not limited to) ONEIT, the Student Education Service, Faculty IT teams and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) currently hosted at the University. The objectives of this framework agreement are as follows. The University is seeking suppliers who will assist us in meeting these objectives: • To provide high-quality, suitably qualified contractors to supplement the resource available from within the University • To provide a fast and agile route for the University to appoint IT contractors and consultants • To deliver value for money (it is expected that because of the removed need to undertake a full tender process for each role, and the potential for increased business, that savings will be realised against current contract spend) • To maintain a supply base that is committed to working with the University and to providing high quality personnel throughout the duration of the contract period.
