Tender description

This contract is to undertake the servicing of installations in premises within the Devon County Council (DCC) estate. Please note DCC has a property rationalisation strategy where by the number of its premises is likely to change/ reduce over time. The contract typically but not exclusively covers Schools who subscribe to the Devon Maintenance Partnership, Academies who subscribe to the Devon Academies Maintenance Agreement operated by NPS SW Ltd, Children's Centres, Social Care Units, Offices, other Corporate Buildings. It is the Council's intention to appoint 1 contractor to deliver the contract throughout Devon. The main works to be provided under this contract are as follows: — Servicing, testing and inspection; — Provision of a 24 hour 365 day call out service for attending to breakdowns/faults; — Completion of repairs to installations (when commissioned). This is a 4 year arrangement subject to a break clause after 2 years. The arrangement may be extended by up to a further 4 years in 12 month increments.
