Tewkesbury Borough Employment Land and Economic Development Strategy Review Tewkesbury Borough Council (TBC) is seeking to appoint a consultant to undertake the following work: •An Employment Land Review in order to inform the development of policies and allocations for the Tewkesbury Borough Plan (TBP). The Employment Land Review should include:◦An assessment of the past and current employment land position to establish a new baseline. ◦An assessment of commercial property market including supply and demand pressures. ◦A local level analysis of economic forecasts and employment land requirements to 2031. ◦A review of the condition and suitability of existing developed and undeveloped employment land. ◦Identify and assess future supply of potential sites. The study should be undertaken in compliance with the guidance set out in the National Planning Policy Framework and the Planning Practice Guidance. The Employment Land Review for Tewkesbury will need to be informed by the outcomes and evidence of the economic work undertaken for the JCS. However, it is recognised that the JCS work was completed for a strategic level plan and there is a requirement for a more detailed local level assessment of employment requirements for the Borough. In order to be considered, your tender must be submitted along with the supporting documents and returned no later than 16:00 on 4 March 2016.
