Tender description

Birmingham City Council’s (BCC) Sustainability Team is seeking quotations from organisations to complete a techno-economic feasibility study on the heat network opportunities in the Selly Oak area of Birmingham. Bidders will need to provide: • A methodology demonstrating the proposed approach, ensuring each aspect of the Specification is addressed; • Curriculum Vitae (or equivalent) of each individual identified to deliver the project, demonstrating the link between their responsibilities in contract delivery and their experience/ knowledge/ expertise (technical, commercial and stakeholder engagement); • A strategy for successful stakeholder engagement, appropriate to the range and interests of likely stakeholders during the project, stating methods of engagement, priorities and expected rate of success based on previous relevant experience. • A list of projects delivered by the bidder in this or a similar field, and testimonials from clients where available, or an equivalent, demonstrating the quality of outputs. • Identify costs for the project, against each element as per the specification, including individual’s hourly rate and proposed time to be spent on each task; • A draft project plan with key task, outputs and timescales clearly presented. This should be updated at key intervals in the project; • The successful bidder will be invited to enter into BCC’s standard terms and conditions and you must sign up and adhere to the Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this contract providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest and download details.
