Co-Production Training Sessions (Please circulate to others whose work may link to commissioning, coproduction or cohesion – the training is open to all) The Council is shifting the way it funds many of its services to a coproduction model. This means we will work closely with local people and organisations to jointly agree priorities for future funding, and what type of activities would best deliver these priorities. An increasing number of Council services will be commissioned using this coproduction method. Coproduced commissioning will be used to take forward a new programme to succeed the current Mainstream Grants (MSG). The first area to be coproduced will be community cohesion. The first step of this is co-production training which we hope will attract a wide range of people across Tower Hamlets. People have the option of attending either of the following sessions: - 11th January 6pm - 8.30pm - 26th January 2pm - 4.30pm VENUE WILL BE CONFIRMED TO THOSE WHO REGISTER The training will: - explore what co production is - provide examples of ways coproduction has been used - explain how co production will be used to shape services that are currently funded by grants - outline the process in Tower Hamlets moving forward - explain how people can get involved in coproducing cohesion projects in Tower Hamlets Keywords: community services, social
