Tender description

This is a framework agreement arranged into 5 lots: Lot 1 — Traditional Construction Projects (Low Value) The works typically consist of smaller construction projects, including but not confined to; new buildings, extensions, internal and external refurbishment and alterations. The projects fundamentally consist of schools, with the occasional nursery facilities, sports facilities, respite and day care facilities but may also extend to other settings including but not confined to; offices, light industrial units, police and fire authority premises. Lot 2 — Traditional Construction Projects (Intermediate Value) The works typically consist of larger construction projects including but not confined to new buildings, extensions, internal and external refurbishment and alterations. The projects fundamentally consist of schools, with the occasional nursery facilities, sports facilities, respite and day care facilities but may also extend to other settings including but not confined to; offices, light industrial units, police and fire authority premises. Lot 3 — Traditional Construction Projects (High Value) The works typically consist of major and more complex construction projects including but not confined to new buildings, extensions, internal and external refurbishment and alterations. The projects fundamentally consist of schools, with the occasional nursery facilities, sports facilities, respite and day care facilities but may also extend to other settings including but not confined to; offices, light industrial units, police and fire authority premises. Lot 4 — Modular Construction Projects and Associated Services/Works (Low Value) The works typically consist of smaller sectional prefabricated buildings, often designed by the contractor and comprise of multiple modules or standard sections which are manufactured remotely and then assembled and finished on site; including but not confined to new buildings and extensions, but may also include internal and external refurbishment and alterations. These ‘turnkey’ projects fundamentally consist of schools, with the occasional nursery facilities, sports facilities, respite and day care facilities but may also extend to other settings including but not confined to police and fire authority premises. Lot 5 — Modular Construction Projects and Associated Services/Works (Intermediate / High Value) The works typically consist of larger / major and more complex sectional prefabricated buildings, often designed by the contractor and comprise of multiple modules or standard sections which are manufactured remotely and then assembled and finished on site; including but not confined to new buildings and extensions, but may also include internal and external refurbishment and alterations.
