Tender description

This contract is for the Supply, Maintenance, Testing and Certification of Lifting and Fall Arrest Equipment. The purpose of this contract is to enable Northern Ireland Water to comply with current legislative requirements relating to the maintenance, repair, supply and certification of lifting and fall arrest systems and so ensures that NI Water meets its statutory duties. NI Water operates a wide variety of equipment at 5 720 premises in Northern Ireland, in which around 3 000 of these have approximately a total of 20 200 items of lifting and fall arrest equipment in numerous sites and vehicles throughout Northern Ireland. This is expected to grow due to ongoing projects to enhance the quality of NI Water's service to the customer.
