Who Speclialist Work With The likely team will consist of the following: Product Owner, Senior User, Scrum Practioner, In-Service Manager, Developer. On a daily basis, the successful applicant is likely to work in team of 2-3. What Specialists Work On To write & execute automation test scripts using C++/Selenium / Canopy/F#/ Specflow against Oracle Applications. To carry out installation, configuration, integration and migration of the Oracle Application To write and maintain User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Tasks and other project documentation to write detailed automation scripts. To participate in user requirement workshops to define acceptance criteria for user stories. To participate in sprint planning meetings to provide estimates for testing activity and to attend other Scrum ceremonies as required. To work as part of a cross-functional team participating in activities such as update of User Guides and other documentation as required. Where the Work Takes Place Army Headquarters, Andover, Hampshire. Early Market Engagement Working Arrangements On site 5 days a week. Working hours are Monday-Friday (may involve some travel from time to time). Approximate hours are 9:00 – 17:00. Additional expenses will not be paid, however travel between sites will be provided by the Army's Travel Support Unit. Work Location Army Headquarters, Andover, Hampshire. Security Clearance Candidate will require existing SC clearance which must be in date for the duration of the requirement. Competency and proven ability in the use of TFS Test Manager or HP ALM to maintain test suites, execution of tests and defect tracking. Competency and proven ability in executing test scripts/scenarios, as well as complex installation guides. Excellent communication and co-ordination skills. Demonstrable ability to develop and maintain clear and concise documentation to a high professional standard. The ability to write and execute tests scripts/scenarios focusing on the production of regression tests and smoke scripts for the migrated applications. Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on Agile software testing. The ability to lead and provide input into the review all project documentation, providing test effort required to deploy each application. The ability to produce Test Reports and Release Notes against IAS’s Test Templates. Nice to Haves Agile qualification e.g. Agile Certified Tester. Experience in scoping the types of testing and effort required to deploy each application. Automation scripting using VBScripts / UFT. No. of Specialists to Evaluate 3 Cultural Fit Criteria The ability to work as part of a Scrum team and larger IAS department The ability to self manage priorities and workload Respect the ethos of the Army, rank structure and wider defence The ability to receive and reciprocate constructive feedback from all stakeholders A willingness to visit other locations for short periods to gain the necessary insight into the product.
