Tender description

The scope of this project is to award a framework contract for the support of its Enterprise Server and Storage estate together with the provision of new hardware and technical/professional services. The tender is comprised of the following Lots: Lot 1 is for the support of the Council’s Unix estate together with the provision of new hardware and technical/professional services that may be required throughout the term of the framework. Lot 2 is for the support of the Council’s Wintel estate together with the provision of new hardware and technical/professional services that may be required throughout the term of the framework. Lot 3 is for the support of the Council’s Storage estate together with the provision of new hardware and technical/professional services that may be required throughout the term of the framework. It is expected that the Contractor will be able to provide support for any new enterprise level infrastructure added during the course of the contract, including that from other hardware vendors that may relate to the Lot the contract is awarded (Unix, Wintel or Storage). In addition to Leeds City Council, the following organisations will be entitled to enter into their own framework agreement with the successful tenderer in each Lot: Leeds & York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Kirklees Metropolitan Borough Council and The Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale.
