Tender description

Birmingham City Council invites suitably qualified and experience organisations to submit a tender response for the following requirement: Lot 1 — Purchase of bicycles new bicycles as specified in the tender documents; Lot 2 — Purchase of refurbished bicycles for use by Children and Young People; Lot 3 — The set-up of the part-built bicycles so they can be given to the customers 100 % built and adjusted/set up to fit the individual customer; Lot 4 — Service and Maintenance of bicycles — The bikes will be at one or more hubs where all the bicycles will be serviced; Lot 5 — Purchase of accessories — The accessories are listed in the tender documents. The duration of the framework agreement will be for a period of 2 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years, subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance. The framework agreement guarantees no volume of spend. BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
