Wrest Park - Replacement of LV Equipment

Interested suppliers are invited to express interest and complete a pre-qualification exercise for the following project: The works shall comprise of replacement of the low voltage switchboard, loose switchgear and low voltage submain cabling at Wrest Park; a) Layout and construction design of the new low voltage switchboard b) Replace all submain cabling c) Fault level analysis for the new low voltage switchboard d) Discrimination study for the entire installation fed from the new switchboard e) Relocating the existing incoming supply and metering to the new switchboard f) Provision of a complete earthing system g) Layout and sizing of all the wire ways, including conduit, trunking, tray and ladder h) Design and installation of brackets, supports, fixings and clamps i) Provision of lighting and small power to the new switchroom j) Extending the existing fire alarm system to the new switchroom k) Builders work in connection l) Removal and disposal of all redundant cabling and asbestos where found m) Fire stopping n) Generator backup during work o) Decontamination of the Allen West & Co Limited existing switchboard p) Decontamination of the ground in switchroom B20 The replacement LV infrastructure is to be installed in parallel with the existing system. A change over period of several days has been expected. Following the change over the redundant equipment will be removed. The buildings will be in use during the entire period of the works.
