Tender description

The provision of the Supply and Hire of Temporary Facilities Marquees and Tents will be reviewed in the context of the police operations that they support to enable a resilient, flexible and reliable service aligned to business need and have the ability to react rapidly and respond to all call outs and emergency call out/incident responses on a 24 hour 365 day basis. Requirements are usually programmed in advance but occasionally due to security or major incidents there may be a requirement to supply at very short notice. The marquees and tents will be required to be positioned in specific locations that are either on MPS property or on hired rented grounds, for example private playing fields, schools etc. at defined times within an approximate 25 mile radius of Central London and the M25 boundary. It is the contractor's responsibility to obtain any necessary permissions; including but not limited to when work must be carried out in Controlled Parking Zones (CPZ), Low Emission Zones (LEZ), Congestion Zone (CZ) and other local bylaw enforcement schemes.
