Tender description

To fulfil contractual obligations, the Authority, has a requirement to store and retrieve medical records. Due to increasing demand for this storage service a decision has been taken to move our 2 records management facilities to 1 larger location. Offers are invited split into 2 lots for ** LOT 1: The retrieval from racking, transport and relocation onto racking of approximately 45,000 1.4 cu sized boxes and 6,000 1 cu sized boxes in 2 planned episodes from 2 locations. All boxes must be securely removed to comply with information governance requirements. ** LOT 2: The dismantling of and re-erection of Link51 and other type longspan shelving in 2 planned episodes from 2 locations. Re- erected racking will be independently assessed for Health & Safety compliance There will be a requirement for the successful bidders to work closely together to best plan, in stages, the removal of boxes from one area, followed by the removal and re-erection of racking to enable further removal of records and racking. Suppliers are permitted to bid for ONE or Both lots; Suppliers are permitted to Collaborate with other parties to delivery both lots. Please refer to the tender documents for further details.
