Tender description

River Clyde Homes (RCH) is a registered social landlord that owns and manages over 6 000 homes and provides factoring services to a further 2 250 homes in the Inverclyde area of Scotland. The Broomhill Project sits within the central Greenock containing 607 units for social rent and owner occupation by RCH. There is a mixture of hot air district heating, gas central heating and electric storage heaters in the area. RCH will be replacing the current system with 2 x 500 kW = 1 000 kW Biomass boiler (pellet fed system) to provide both heat and hot water to the approximately 607 units equating to 4 500 kW running hours per year. River Clyde Homes are also installing EWI and installing double glazing UPVC windows to increase the energy efficiency of the property. RCH are offering the opportunity to carry out the operation, maintenance, metering (including installation of meters) and billing for the scheme and the successful tenderer will receive the income from the billing process.
