Tender description

Part of footpath 168 east of the Stoodley Pike Monument is in a poor condition and people are now walking around the affected boggy and waterlogged sections and have in effect widened the walked route to the detriment of the adjacent protected moorland. To exacerbate the situation water out-falling from an adjacent well is flowing across the path and is adding to surfacing problem. It is proposed therefore to: • Surface the affected section of the path with reclaimed Yorkshire stone flags and • To unbblock and repair the well outfall. Keywords: Pathway repair, Drainage repair
