Remedial Ground Works

Tender description

The Marine Institute requires the following ground works to be undertaken as a result of flood damage in December 2015. I. Debris removal / drain and duct clearance II. Lift out 32 fibreglass tanks III. Reset tank bases with existing and (where required) new stone and re- position tanks IV. Lift out existing shed and reset following resurfacing (dependant on condition of the shed) V. Excavate, regrade and resurface tarmac around tanks VI. Anchor to be installed for 300mm diameter Class C water main VII. Reinstate damaged kerbing along pathways VIII. Supply, place and compact 100mm depth of Cl804 along Lake roadway Assumptions: a. Tanks are not secured and will lift off existing bases b. Institute will be responsible for disconnecting all wiring, cabling and plumbing and reconnecting after the tanks have been placed back on the new bases. c. Any unforeseen damages to be discussed with the Institute prior to remedial works being undertaken.
