Peterborough City Council's (‘The Council’) People and Communities Directorate anticipates undertaking a procurement exercise for the provision of a new Passenger Transport Services contract. The purpose of the proposed procurement exercise will be to appoint a range of providers who can deliver a range of high quality transport services across Peterborough. It is envisaged the opportunity will include the provision of transport for individuals with Special Needs; provision of Mainstream transport and transport related to Social Care. The Council is issuing this PIN for the purpose of giving advance notice to the market of this requirement and also to seek organisations that would wish to take place in a market sounding exercise. In particular the Council wishes to understand the market's position on how the Council can best package the requirement to the market, potential savings and determine interest in having a supplier/industry day. The Council nor any person on whose behalf this soft market questionnaire is undertaken is to be liable for any costs incurred by those wishing to respond to the questionnaire.
