Tender description

The Emmbrook School creates an environment where students will be happy, grow in self-confidence, thrive academically, and make the most of the many opportunities the School offers. The school's aim is to inspire, challenge and transform all students to achieve their potential. Currently the school has circa 864 students and a further 190 Sixth Formers. The School's existing catering service has been managed in-house for the past 3 years having previously been contracted out via Wokingham Borough Council. The school has 2 food outlets, a Sixth Form Coffee Bar (located in the main restaurant) and the Main Restaurant servery. Morning Break 10:50 - 11:10. Lunch 13:15 - 13:55. Currently the school uses cash only. The school would like to move to a cashless system and will be looking for funding proposals from the bidding companies. The coffee shop server is a separate area within the main dining room that can only be used by sixth form students. This area has significant potential and the school will be looking for detailed proposal as to how contractors would maximize revenue and student participation. The School is placing its Catering services to competitive tender and is inviting professional Catering organisations to bid for the contract with the intention of awarding the contract following due process by 4.11.2016 with a contract start date of 4.1.2017.
