UK Shared Business Services Ltd, acting as the Contracting Authority, is putting into place a Contract on behalf of the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) . BAS is looking for a supplier capable of providing of providing a Subsea Multi-Corer system to collect Biological Materials & Geological Sediment samples from the ocean floor up to a depth of 6000m. . The Multi-Corer shall be provided with ● 12 sample tubes, each being at least 60cm x 10cm in diameter ● Adjustable Penetration Depth of the core tubes ● Provide live video footage to the sea surface ● Interface with the fibre optic cable (A302351) used by BAS (Refer to attached specification for details) ● Delivery to be achieved before the end of April 2017
