Tender description

Sheffield City Council will commence delivery of its Facilities Management and Repairs Service from 1st April 2017, taking over the running of the service from the previous outsourced provider. The Council's corporate estate consists of over 600 buildings /properties of varying sizes and use along with a wide range of other structures from dams and water courses to scheduled Ancient Monuments. Effective management and delivery of the repairs and maintenance service to these properties and structures is a key enabler of service delivery and supports the Council's main strategic aims and objectives. SCC has a traded function delivering servicing and repairs service to approximately 103 schools. SCC Facilities Management and Repairs Service cover a delivery's a range of statutory compliance functions as well repairs and maintenance including: — Responsive repairs. — Planned Repairs. — Repairs after servicing (all servicing elements). — Gas servicing. — Hard Wire Testing. — Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting servicing. — Air Conditioning/Air Handling Units servicing. — Earthing/Lightning Protection testing. — Fire Fighting Equipment Servicing. — Portable Appliance Testing. — Latchwire/Mansafe systems testing.
