Tender description

The UK Education and Research sector has long utilised Email discussion lists. JSL has provided services from 1998 to the present day. The current JiscMail service being host to over 1.5 million subscribers worldwide and covering academia from over 70 countries. JSL is looking to enhance the current service, reaching an even wider audience, connecting more educators and researchers, providing resources to smaller organisations and enabling the enhancement of research and knowledge sharing. In addition to developing the service JSL is also keen to find cost efficiencies, simpler and improved reporting features, ease of support and administration and means to produce a revenue.
