UK SBS CON16015 Project Manager and Cost Manager for Facilities Support Building, Didcot

Tender description

STFC at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory have appointed a Project Manager and Cost Manager for the construction of the new Facilities Support Building R105 and R106. This appointment is to support the construction of this new £14 million building, the early works for which will be constructed by Willmott Dixon under a direct award against the SCAPE framework agreement and are due to start later in the autumn. Although only the early works are budgeted for to date, the appointed consultants are intended to carry the project through to ultimate completion. R105/R106 is the new Facilities Support Building for ISIS, planned to be constructed on the existing footprint of the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory at Harwell. Early works have already been identified, including scans, ground investigations, laboratory tests and soil analyses, which will be undertaken against the current SCAPE framework agreement.
