Tender description

Reading Borough Council are seeking an experienced and fully accredited Bikeability cycle training provider to deliver cycle training to young people in the Borough. Reading Borough Council are seeking an experienced and fully accredited Bikeability cycle training provider to deliver cycle training to young people in the Borough. The successful Contractor will be expected to deliver Bikeability Level 1, 2 and 3 training in schools, predominately throughout the school day during term time. Bikeability Level 3 should be delivered to Secondary Schools either after-school or within school holidays, unless training can be delivered as part of lessons, such as PHSE or Physical Education. The Contractor will also be responsible for organising and delivering open training sessions at other suitable venues during school holidays. In addition to the core service being procured as part of this exercise, the Council may also require the successful Contractor to deliver Bikeability Plus modules, including Fix, Learn to Ride and Recycle, as well as provide additional cycle training / services should funding become available.
