Tender description

The Environment Agency has a requirement for the purchase of telehandlers of a variety of sizes along with a range of associated equipment to enable it to carry out its statutory and voluntary undertakings in relation to the maintenance and operation of flood defences and river channels. We wish to establish a single supplier National Framework for the supply of telehandlers and a range of associated equipment. The primary requirement is the supply of telehandlers and associated equipment in conformity with the specification provided in section 2 of the tender document and the appendices of this document. Although the majority of our requirements for the next 4 years will be as specified in section 2 of the tender document, it is likely that we will sometimes have bespoke requirements for other, as yet unknown and unspecified construction equipment. This equipment is likely to consist of telehandlers and associated equipment of sizes below, between or above those detailed and other construction equipment, potentially including: Lighting towers; fuel bowsers; water bowsers; generators; towed welfare units; hydraulic power packs; wheeled excavators; skid steers; all terrain vehicles, compressors and a variety of telehandler attachments.
