Tender description

Cornwall Council via Cornwall Housing Ltd is seeking partners to provide emergency temporary accommodation for homeless households, up to 50 units at any one time. Providers will provide short-stay accommodation for a range of households who have been assessed on an interim basis as homeless, and who are as a result entitled to emergency accommodation until the conclusion of our inquiries. In summary, the services will cover: Same day access to accommodation (available 24/7 -in hours and out of hours); enable stays ranging from 1 night up to 10 weeks; manage the accommodation to standards specified by the Local Authority; comply with periodic inspections of accommodation during the contract period; accommodation to be located in and around the key towns in Cornwall; This will be tendered as a three lot Framework Agreement for 3 years with an option to extend for an additional year. Lot 1 To provide emergency temporary accommodation for homeless households — Emergency Temporary Accommodation for Homeless Households — Families with Children. Providers will provide short-stay accommodation for a range of households who have been assessed on an interim basis as homeless, and who are as a result entitled to emergency accommodation until the conclusion of our inquiries.
