Tender description

MCC has a statutory obligation to maintain the Highways Network within Monmouthshire. MCC Operations Highways is contracted to South Wales Trunk Road Agency (SWTRA) to maintain various activities of the Motorway and Trunk Road Network within Cardiff and the Greater Gwent Area. The provision of specialist highway drainage cleaning service to assist in the undertaking of the various activities that are carried out within the services above is essential in delivering the services stated above. The scope of the contract will cover annual drainage cleansing which includes gullies, catchpits, cattlegrids, and kerb & channel drainage systems in accordance with the South Wales Trunk Road Agency Highway Works Service Level Agreement with Monmouthshire County Council.
