Tender description
A range of construction related works and services to be delivered to the London Borough of Newham comprising of but not limited to : — Widening foot-ways; — Creation of public urban spaces; — Removal of the bus contraflow section of carriageway on Broadway and West Ham Lane; — Improvements to bus stops and station operations; — Traffic light upgrading; — Improvements to cycle facilities; — Widening foot-ways; — Implementation of traffic calming features; — Removal/relocation/provision of some public art; — Upgrading/Erecting new Street Lighting and CCTV; — Introducing soft and hard landscaping. London Borough of Newham intends to award a contract for 26 months. This is an Engineering and Construction Contract Option B. The contract will be to construct and manage the site for this duration. The estimated value for works is 10 000 000 GBP. The main works will be on foot-way and carriageway.
