Tender description

The Authority's aim is to replace the current HP Blade infrastructure with a Hyper-converged solution that will enable the London Fire Brigade to: Continue supporting and developing the Citrix environment for all users; Enable shared storage for provisioning server; Reduce costs; De-duplication and caching improvements; Increased performance through all flash arrays. This solution will be the 1st part of a larger project of works to completely upgrade the desktop environment. The new environment will provide the latest remote desktop for all 6 000 users (approximately 1 800 concurrent users). The proposed solution will need to deliver a hyper-converged infrastructure at LFB's 2 data centres, Merton (South London) and Woking.
