For the provision of services to coordinate a market towns museums network and associated audience development support

Tender description

Quotations are invited for the provision of services to coordinate a market town museums network for five museums across the East Midlands from November 2016 to March 2018. The role includes undertaking organisational reviews of museums in the network to identify opportunities and barriers towards improving engagement with local communities, developing audiences and volunteers. Through this process, workforce development needs will be identified and a training and mentoring budget will allow museums to access tailored support to address skills development needs either as part of the network or as individual organisations. The coordinator will be responsible for each museum developing improvement/ action plans and grants of £10,000 per museum can support implementation of elements of the plans.
