Tender description

The Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced service providers to enter into a single provider contract to provide Partnering Advisor core and additional services. The primary function of the Partnering Advisor is to support the operation of various Term Partnering Contracts (based on the ACA form of Term Partnering Contract 2005 (Amended 2008)) which are used by the Council. The provision of professional, impartial, technical and commercial advice will support the Council's Partnering Teams in relation to: Develop strategic partnering relationship management; Develop and provide knowledge transfer sessions to the Council; Provide focus on delivery of agreed contract provision outcomes; Implement and deliver continuous improvement; Mitigation of potential partnering and contractual disputes; Open book and performance reviews. Please refer to the Procurement Document for further details and note that a Bidder Briefing Event is scheduled for 16.11.2016. The scope of Partnering Advisor services is set out within the Procurement Document. The Partnering Advisor will be required to deliver certain Core Activities on an annual basis at an estimated value of 1 680 000 GBP, with the ability for the Council to acquire Additional Services as and when required at an estimated value of 2 000 000 GBP, giving an estimated total contract value of 3 680 000 GBP. The term will be for an initial period of five years commencing January 2018 with options to extend for a period or periods up to a possible maximum total contract term of 14 years (5 years +3+3+1+1+1).
