LBN Independent Tenants and Residents Advisor

The London Borough of Newham is seeking to appoint an organisation to provide Independent advice to tenants, leaseholders and freeholders of the Carpenters Estate in Stratford.The purpose of the Independent Tenants ans Residents Advisor (ITRA) will be to provide advice and support to individual residents and the Joint rResident Steering Group (JRSG). In summary the objectives will be to: • Provide support to the JRSG • Provide advice to individual residents on the proposals • Facilitate wider communication with the residents of the Carpenters Estate. The ITRA’s remit will be in relation to the proposed regeneration of the estate and the ITRA will not develop, support the development of, or advise on any alternative proposals. A work programme will be agreed on a six monthly basis between the Council and the JRSG. The ITRA may also be required to provide independent advice to residents of other areas of the borough affected by regeneration as required.
