UK SBS Service Contract for Mass Spectrometers and Liquid Chromatography Systems

Tender description

The MRC Elsie Widdowson Laboratory (EWL) requires the renewal of a one year service contract for two ABSciex QTrap tandem MS, their associated pumps and two Waters Acquity UPLC systems. The contract must include two PM visits for the MS and one PM for the LC, including all parts, travel and labour. This contract is to cover existing LC-MS/MS at MRC EWL which form a key part of the research carried out in the Nutrition and Bone Health Group as well as for the National Diet and Nutrition Survey. The analysis carried out on the instruments predominantly focuses on 25-hydroxy Vitamin D, Vitimin B and Folate. The instruments are critical to the work carried out at MRC EWL and contractual deadlines exist which cannot be missed. The contract must provide continual PM and service support with prompt engineer response times. The contract must run from 1st November 2016 to 31st October 2017 The equipment is located at MRC Elsie Widdowson Laboratory, Cambridge.
