Ducting Framework Agreement

Tender description

This is an advert to explore the market and notification of a supplier engagement day on 18th November 2016. This is not an advertisement for a Tender. The London Borough of Harrow is seeking to establish a framework agreement which will enable public sector bodies to engage with the market and leverage opportunities including commercial opportunities through access to fibre and ducting infrastructure that they own. The supplier engagement day will be used to outline the aspirations of the council and a proposed approach to procurement; specifically however we would be using this process to understand prospective contractors' ideas with a view to ensuring that the framework reflects the market interest and is a framework that will work for both parties. In particular we will be seeking to understand the following: 1) Considerations on what is the interest of the market in ducting infrastructure? 2) Considerations on how would you wish to engage with the Council 3) Considerations on what is your preferred model and what model works and does not work? 4) Considerations we should take into accounts within our service requirements 5) Considerations on the Terms and conditions The engagement day will provide the facility for one to one meeting with a representative of the London Borough of Harrow to discuss these issues in more detail.
