Tender description
The City of London are seeking to deliver a new 2FE primary school and a minimum of 70 units of affordable housing on a site that sits within the Golden Lane Estate. The site sits adjacent to a conservation area to the north and grade 2 and 2* listed buildings to the west and south. An existing 1970's building currently occupies the site, however this will be demolished as part of a separate contract. A design team has been appointed to RIBA Stage 3 and will be novated to the client from RIBA Stage 4 onwards. A main contractor is required to undertake RIBA Stage 4 Technical Design, as part of a two stage procurement approach. A full design team is required to undertake RIBA Stage 4 Technical Design. Team to include project management, architecture, structural engineering, quantity surveying, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, civil engineering, CDM co-ordination, landscape architecture, acoustic engineering.
