Central Dental Referral Management Service for Midlands and East (East) Region

Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England Midlands & East (East) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver a Central Dental Referral Management Service for the Midlands and East (East) Region. This procurement will be conducted by AGCSU on behalf of NHS England Midlands & East (East) (referred to as the Commissioners). Any contract arising from this procurement will be between the successful Provider and NHS England (National Health Service Commissioning Board). The key objective is to deliver a compliant comprehensive procurement process for the appointment of a successful Bidder(s) that fully meet the Service specification criteria for delivery of quality service. This will be via the open procurement process. The successful Bidder(s) will be awarded an NHS Standard Contract for the provision of Dental Referral Management Service for the Midlands & East (East) region that will meet the technical and financial requirements of NHS England Midlands & East (East). It is envisaged that TUPE will apply to this contract. As a result of this procurement exercise an agreement will be established with the successful Bidder(s) for a period of 3 years, with the Commissioner having the option to extend the Contract for up to a further 2 years. The total contract value over the 3 year contract term is £675,000. This is based on the current activity and allows for some growth over the contract term. The commissioner has the option to extend the contract for up to a further 2 years. All completed bids must be submitted by 12.00 Noon on 18 November 2016.
