Tender description

Tenders are invited for the supply of cash collection, cash delivery and cash in transit services for corporate sites and car parks in Warwick District. The Council's detailed requirements are defined in the Specification (Part 2). The procurement process being used is open and compliant with the EU Public Procurement Directive 2015 regulations. The tender consists of 2 Lots: Lot 1: Supply of cash collection, cash delivery and cash in transit services from corporate sites (Approx. amount of cash and cheques requiring collection is 6 000 000 GBP per annum). Lot 2:Supply of cash collection and cash in transit services from car parks, including pay and display machines. (Approx. amount of cash requiring collection is 3 600 000 GBP per annum). Whilst we have divided the requirement into Lots, this does not preclude providers from bidding for both lots, if they feel that they can adequately deliver the various services required. Whilst this document reflects the current requirements of the Council as accurately as possible it is acknowledged that the requirements and scope in terms of collection frequency, amount of cash/cheques collected and collection locations is likely to vary during the term of the Contract. The successful Tenderer will be expected to provide a flexible service to adapt to any such changes.
