Tender description

This tender is for the provision of a Pest Control Service for Cannock Chase District Council. It is intended that a single Provider will be awarded to provide the pest control service. As from 1st January 2017 the Council will provide a cost neutral pest control service to domestic properties for rats and mice only. All other pest treatments offered will attract a charge. It is the aim of the Council that treatment for pests takes place within (3) three working days of the request being received and that the service provided is of high quality and is effective. Response for requests for service is provided principally during the normal working week; Monday to Friday: 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. In addition to domestic pest control treatments, the preventative treatment and any reactive visits to certain public buildings and land will be required. These will include the Civic Offices, sheltered housing schemes and satellite premises such as area offices and the Council depot. The level of service will vary but may include ants as casual invaders.
