(NU/1219) The Provision of an International Management System

Tender description

The University requires a software system that will support the office operation of the full international function: International Partnerships; International Recruitment; and, Student & Staff Mobility Abroad. The software is to support appropriate management of International Partnership and recruitment relationship records, funder data and other individuals and organisations that the University has a business or funding relationships with. A key driver for this project is to provide a solution that will enable the University to significantly reduce staff time to retrieve key information on partnerships, country or region and allow instant access to all activities (past and present) taking place. The system will achieve a reduction in staff time by providing an online system through which exchange students can apply for mobility to and from Newcastle. This improvement will increase reputational value with partner institutions, strengthening our reputational position which would in the long term lead to an increased income through additional student recruitment and more research funding. We are seeking an off the shelf, fully commercially developed solution which will require minimum development time to meet the needs of the University.
