KMCBS-024 Framework for Electrical Works for Kirklees Council

View this opportunity at www.yortender.co.uk Building Services is the Direct Labour Organisation section of the Council and are responsible for the repair and maintenance of over twenty thousand (20,000) domestic Council properties. They work with Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing Limited (KNH), a wholly Council owned arms-length organisation formed in 2002 which manages the Council's above responsibilities. The Council is looking for suitably qualified contractors to supplement its in-house teams to undertake electrical Works to domestic properties, including electrical rewires and testing. The Works will be undertaken to social housing (domestic properties). In addition to these Works, the Council may also procure electrical Works for larger schemes by seeking competitive tenders/quotations for these Works from all relevant Contractors in accordance with the procedures set out in the Contract Conditions. The Works provided under the Framework Agreement will be available to both the Council and any arms-length service provider such as KNH. The majority of the Work will be required to be undertaken within the administration boundaries of the district of Kirklees although there may be Works required which will extend to outside this area. There are 3 lots available via this Framework Agreement in respect of domestic property, namely Full Rewires Partial Rewires Electrical Testing
