Tender description

Prior information notice covering a potential procurement of live attenuated intranasal influenza vaccine for the Secretary of State for Health acting as part of the Crown through the Commercial Medicines Unit (for and on behalf of the contracting authority and other health related bodies) for the period from 1.8.2018 to 31.7.2020 with an option to extend for up to an additional 24 months. The Authority proposes with the use of negotiated procedure to let a contract for the supply of live attenuated intranasal influenza vaccine. The vaccine would be used to support the annual seasonal influenza vaccination programme, which includes children. Deliveries would be required over a period of 2 years beginning in the 2018 influenza season, with an option to extend for up to an additional 24 months. Up to 6 million doses of the vaccine may be required during each year of the contract period.
