Superfast South Yorkshire – Business Support – Digital Taster Sessions

Superfast South Yorkshire is seeking a company to deliver innovative and engaging digital taster sessions to eligible South Yorkshire businesses; the sessions will raise awareness and promote the business benefits that can be realised through the use of technology and embed the knowledge and understanding to support greater business adoption An indicative list of current business issues is below, this is not exhaustive and by no means a final list of taster sessions. o Supply chain management o Open collaboration (for innovation and developing new products and services) o Video conferencing & virtual presence o Security, reliability, VPNs etc. o “The Cloud” - what does a cloud-enabled business really look like? o Using hosted solutions rather than buying/licensing software o Productivity o Social media o E-commerce o International Trade o Customer interaction o Self service o Product development The “taster sessions” will be held throughout the lifetime of the programme with the objective to support businesses to understand benefits of the various interventions enabled by connectivity to facilitate further adoptions across South Yorkshire businesses. These “taster sessions” will be delivered across the four areas of South Yorkshire to reflect the infrastructure roll out in Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster and Sheffield. The contract will start in November 2016 and expire on the 31st December 2018 The estimated maximum budget fort the whole contract period is £100,000 The tender documentation is only available to download through the Yortender e –tendering system .
