Tender description
Electricity at Work Regulations (EaWR) Blueprint and Evidence Base Assessment. Network Rail is committed to improving electrical safety. The Electrical Safety Delivery (ESD) programme is remitted in Control Period 5 (CP5) to improve Network Rail's compliance with the Electricity at Work Regulations (EaWR) and bring about improved safety and efficiency benefits for work on traction and non-traction Electrical Power systems. The ESD programme has 7 distinct but complimentary work streams focusing on all aspects of HV and LV Electrical Power, ranging from developing a single process for working on or near live or charged equipment through to electrical design principles and electrical competences. This work stream is for the development of the EaWR ‘Blueprint’ and evidence base, which will include pulling together relevant input from other ESD work streams and Electrical Power.
