Tender description

We wish to appoint a partner to expand the number of Community Organisers recruited to 10 000 by March 2020 — an expansion of 3 500. This will include supporting the most effective and/or highest potential Community Organisers recruited through the 2010 - 2015 Community Organisers programme to broaden and deepen their impact, training new Community Organisers, and facilitating peer-to-peer support between Community Organisers. The ultimate aim is for residents to take action together in and across England's most deprived neighbourhoods for social change — focused on the issues that matter most to them. The Office for Civil Society (OCS), part of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), is seeking a delivery partner to expand the number of Community Organisers recruited to 10 000 by March 2020. This requirement is England only, reflecting the responsibilities of the Office for Civil Society.
