Tender description

Business continuity sits within HS2 Ltd's wider security objectives, which seek to ensure that outcomes are achieved which represent a proportionate and risk-managed approach to enable HS2 Ltd, as a Governmental body, to function effectively, safely and securely. HS2 Ltd sought an advisor to assist it the development of its Business Continuity approach, upon which the outputs from this work in general terms are as follows: • To demonstrate support for and alignment with HS2’s wider security objectives; • A robust Business Continuity programme and strategy in line with the ISO 22301 Business Continuity standard; • A set of rehearsed Business Continuity Plans; • Engagement and buy-in by senior management; • Roll-out of the Business Continuity approach to make all impacted staff aware of their roles and actions, including advice on any wider communications; • Proposals to ensure that Business Continuity capability matures over time. Following a further competition process, this contract has been awarded through the Business Continuity Lot of ESPO’s Consultancy Services Framework (Ref. 664).
