Due to an error on the deadline closing date, this opportunity submission deadline has been extended to 12noon, 27th October. BMBC would like to appoint a single supplier for the provision of a Appointment & Bookings System. An appointments system will help to enable the council website to become fully transactional, where customers can read, apply, report, make an appointment and pay for services. The development of such transactional capabilities through digital channels will ensure that they are easy to use and thus become the channel of choice. The system will enable services to manage availability of resources that support appointments and bookings. The appointments and bookings process will become a sub-process to the online and mediated application processes, and to facilitate appointments and bookings made by back office; therefore will need to cater for various services within the scope of the Customer Services Implementation Programme. An appointment is where a ‘person’ is required to deliver the required service. They may need certain assets in order to deliver that service. A booking is booking an asset such as: a venue, course, PC or equipment. Keywords: Booking
