Tender description

This framework is for 2 years, with an option to extend for a further two, 12 month period extensions making 4 years in total. This reflects that the current arrangements using Northamptonshire Highways are under review by NCC in conjunction with the Northampton University and the University of Hertford who are investigating the potential advantages of creating a new Social Enterprise body to look at combining all Local Authority's transport in a more efficient way and this review is the Total Transport Project. The findings of this review may then result in the creation of a new Social Enterprise body which will enact the findings of the review to revolutionise transport in Northamptonshire to make it more efficient, cost effective and all-encompassing. The outcome of this review may or may not influence whether or not the Framework is extendible or if another arrangement is required. Furthermore, any existing contracts may need to be novated to the new body if it is established.
