Tender description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGG&C) aim to offer a WiFi Enabled computer tablet based Patient Entertainment Service (PES) across NHSGG&C Sites. This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) advising prospective bidders of a forthcoming opportunity and to invite interested parties to an information Session. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GG&C) invite bidders to provide a fixed price to develop and trial a Patient Entertainment System (PES) and to develop a business case to roll-out across in-scope GG&C sites. The service will provide f.o.c. access to PES for all patients across GG&C. It is anticipated that appx. 2 000 tablet devices would be required to provide a comprehensive solution. The System is expected to 1) Provide access to television services 2) Provide access to radio services including BBC, commercial and hospital; 3) Provide access to patient information services including forms, documents and websites.
