Tender description

A range of construction related works and services to be delivered to the London Borough of Newham comprising of but not limited to 1. Modifications of traffic signals 2. Improvements to cycle facilities 3. Creation of public urban spaces 4. Removal of the bus contraflow section of carriageway on Broadway and West Ham Lane 5. Improvements to bus stops and station operations including re-locations as appropriate. 6. Widening of foot-ways 7. Implementation of traffic calming features 8. Removal/relocation/provision of some public art 9. Introducing soft & hard landscaping 10. Delivery of works package to programme, quality and budget 2. Minimisation of risk 3. Ensuring Client best value 4. Ensuring Health and Safety performance 5. Minimisation of works period and in works disruption (build-ability) It is envisaged at this stage there will be no Lots. The Council reserves the right to alter the lots, lot titles and maximum number of lots that can be applied for. Currently it is anticipated that this procurement will be undertaken using the Restricted procedure.
